How To Navigate "PLAN ENROLL"
Easy as 1, 2, 3..
1. Log on and enter as much info as you want or use "skip"
2. Select plans to examine benefits or compare.
3. Enroll into the plan you choose and "Matheny Insurance Group" will reach out to verify enrollment.
Lets go through it together

After opening up PLAN ENROLL select "HEALTH".

When asked "what type of health coverage you are looking for" select "MEDICARE".

enter zip code and county.

The next several screens are optional and you can either enter your information or press "SKIP".

All of the information you enter will auto-fill in an application when you select a plan to apply for.

I would encourage you to enter some provider and medication information to help narrow down plan options.

Keep in mind that Medicaid and LIS are types of state assistance programs.

If you are enrolling during OCT 15th- DEC 7th then your requested plan start date should be January of the following year.

If you have entered any personal info it would be a good idea to create a username and password.

When you get to plan selection keep in mind that your plan should meet all your needs i.e.. include Rx coverage even if you don't take medications, only select a C-SNP if you receive state assistance,

Look at the plan benefits and feel free to compare plans.
*If your primary care provider is PHOENECIAN then a few plans to select from include:

UNITED HEALTHCARE AZ-0010 (PPO)

Meet Gregg Matheny

I began my Medicare journey in August 2017, stationed at a retail booth during my first open enrollment season. It was overwhelming—I wasn’t sure if I had made the right decision. Outside of work, family comes first. I enjoy playing disc golf, watching movies, and spending quality time with my wife and kids.
